When using any of our chemical products, end-users are advised to follow the Ramset recommended procedure if the entire cartridge is not used.
Preferred Method ā Leave the Nozzle On
Ramset recommendsĀ leaving the mixing nozzle attachedĀ to the cartridge. When the product is needed again, simplyĀ remove the old nozzle and replace it with a new one.Ā Dispense adhesive to waste until the colour is uniform.
If the Nozzle is Removed and the Cap is Reattached
If the user decides toĀ remove the nozzleĀ before storage andĀ reattach the cap, the following steps must be taken:
- Thoroughly clean the area around the cartridge outlet.
- Remove all excess product from the tip.
- Ensure no residual chemical remains that could dry and cause blockages or pumping issues during future use.
- When the product is needed again, remove cap and attach new nozzle. Dispense adhesive to waste until the colour is uniform.
Following these steps will help maintain the integrity of the cartridgeĀ andĀ prevent equipment malfunction when the product is reused.
